Is it healthy to sleep late and wake up late?
take for example, last night I slept at 1am and woke up at 1pm.
that's 12 hours. is that still healthy?
especially considering that I've only had a few hours of sleep nights and nights before?
Humans are supposed to sleep 9-10 hours a night (regardless of age - it's just easier to sleep more when you're younger because of less obligations and such). Before the days of electricity, people slept, on average, 9.5 hours a night. If you are sleep deprived it is absolutely normal to catch a few more hours when you finally do have time to rest. Nothings wrong with that. I promise :)
aha i went to sleep maybe 12, 1230am yesterday and i woke uhealthy sleepp around 6. then like forced myself back to sleep because i didnt wanna get up and sit there.
Sure it's ok. I am in foodservice managament, and I work some wierd hours. I work some opens, some closes, and some mids. For instance the last few nights I have been sleeping 2-2. Your body craves more sleep when you havent slept deeply recently and when you go to sleep later.
Hell yeah. I'm planning on sleeping at 4:30 A.M. and waking up at 3:00 PM. Nothing wrong with that. You only need 9-10 hours of sleep.
I don't think it depends on the time that one goes to bed, but how many hours he or she gets as a result of sleeping.
Don't worry! I went to bed at 1AM and got up about 11AM, 10 hours of healthy sleepsleep, and I feel alright. Plus there are loads of workers and employees who work weird hours and have different sleeping times, such as pilots and truck drivers for example
people say you should get at least 8 hrs of sleep, so you should be good.
Your cyadic rhythms are off....(as is mine) which lends itself to a higher rate of Cancer and Heart problems. I think someone said you Sir2 is also depleted..so you will age faster (drink a glass of red wine each day)
How young are you...you might want to change your ways...before you end up....like me....cough cough...ouch...my Arthritic fingers.. ;-)
