i can't do this at the moment as i don't know how to, i have it set on a schedule to block all websites (i added the keyword www.) but i can't do this for msn, as when i add msn, it keeps running (as it is p2p software)- i do not want to have to unplug it etc as it will automaticalall p2p softwarely go off and on at certain times due to the router schedule.
I don't know how to set the port number etc up but am sure there will be free software avaliable but i can't find it/ don't know how to do it

Well, i don′t know why do you like do that, but...
First all p2p softwareopen your control panel and open the fire wall, the windows, panda or wherever firewall. open the option of exceptions. There you will see all the programs that are allowed to connect by they selves to internet. just cancel all that you like.
