MY system was not working. I installed windows xp service pack 2.0. i downloaded mozilla firefox, crazy browser and total media player. the software gets downloaded and it works. However, when the system is switched off for an hour or two hour. the news downloaded software does not open, other apmozilla 2.0 downloadsplications works as usual. IE works as usual. Unable to determine the problem. Please advise . the computer mechanic is also unable to find the soln.

Its a function of Malwares. You can install Windows Update on your machine and it will take care about all types of Windows related Malware.mozilla 2.0 downloads You can install Windows Update from the following ways:
1) Open Internet Explorer-->Tools-->Windows Update..
By clicking that you will able to install the Updates if it is a licensed version. Otherwise it wont update.
