I recently downloaded Firefox 3 which was just released June 17th and found out that it has bugs until now like when I try to download something the icon is just white meaning its not finish downloading yet. I've been waiting for an hour but then when i clicked it it says it cant be open. I just dl'd firefox 3 because i just finish reboooting my laptop.
I want firefox version 2.0.0.14 now please help :(

My problem right now is when i try to download a file for example adobe flash player
after I clicked save file directly to my desktop, it would stay as a white icon or w/e you call that Image:
and ive been waiting for a long time for it to be ready to click then install the damn software/program and I cant. And you can see my recycle bin is full of tryinng to download the software but cant open it. it stays like that as a white icon.
Hello MB, you don't need to dl firefomozilla firefox 2.0 downloadx version2.0.0.14 if you're problem is getting things to be able to download.
all you got to do is
Internet Explorer > tools > security > highlight the internet icon and move the bar to medium-high > ok.
Your problems with you so called "white icons" will be solved, and the question you asked isn't really the question you're suppose to be asking I guess~ hehe..
Looks like you were frustrated and thought FF have a bug but nah you are alright :)
and apparently no one knows here the real problem cept me :p
when you save it on your desktop close all the firefox browser and install the Adap and try to run it let see if it work, and if it still not work you need to uninstall the firefox 3 by going to the safe mode and i believe you can pick up from there and re download the version of firefox you want good luck mate

1) I did not find any problem in firefox3, which i tested just an hour ago. Remember as soon as the download is complete, it gets scanned for viruses and then the download box becomes empty. You should find the downloaded file in its default location. It should be on desktop. Check elsewhere if you have set a different folder for downloaded files.
Tools > Options > Main > Save Files To
(this is the place where your downloaded files will be found)
2) Try to download a different software and see if it works, because the adobe flash player you tried to download could be a browser plugin - which gets directly installed and may not appear in the downloads.
3) I would suggest yo to download and run a free temp files cleaner called CCleaner (that will solve if there is any issue there)
