download firefox 2010How do I bypass the Yahoo Email login page redirecting me to "Download Firefox 3.6"?

When I attempt to log into my Yahoo Classic email account I now get a page popping up redirecting me to "Download Firefox 3.6" without any bypass options - I cannot access my Yahoo email account. My current Firefox 2.0.0.11 browser has worked fine with this account until March 18, 2010. I have no wish to change to a larger, slower, and more security-ridddled browser just to increase the number of buggy features I will subsequently have to deal with and which I neither desire nor need. How do I change the account or login to gain access to my email?
I had gotten a Yahoo popup page <>http://tb.mail.yahoo.com/ytoolbar/configserver/ext/mail_intedownload firefox 2010rstitial/browserupgrade.php> on March 17, 2010 which redirected me to get Firefox 3.6 when I tried to log on to my Yahoo Classic email account with Firefox 2.0. There is a white box on the upper center of that popup page that has “Yahoo! - Help” text at the extreme upper right corner and additional text saying “Get It Now” somewhat lower in the white box and slightly to the right of center. With JavaScript turned on, mousing over the “Get It Now” text in the white box causes a pointer to appear. Immediately below the “Get It Now” text button is another INVISIBLE button which will bring up a pointer when moused over - this invisible button is the download firefox 2010“No thanks, go to my inbox” setting. Click on this invisible button and it should permanently reset your account info to take you directly to your Yahoo email when you log on. (Immediately below the invisible “Go to my inbox” button is a further line of text which says “By clicking Get It Now, you agree to the Software License and Privacy Policy for the Yahoo! Toolbar” which may be ignored.)

Going to <>http://us.mc570.mail.yahoo.com/mc/showFolder?fid=Inbox&order=down&tt=13&pSize=25&ymv=0&> will also allow you to escape the Yahoo Browser Update page and let you log on to your email.
